7Data Retention

When the applicable retention period expires, data is securely deleted or anonymised so that it can no longer be linked to an individual member.
8How We Protect Your Data

- PCI-DSS compliant payment processing — raw card data never touches ph8ph8 servers directly

No security measure is 100% foolproof. In the event of a data breach that affects your personal data, ph8ph8 will notify the National Privacy Commission and affected members in accordance with NPC Circular 16-03 and other applicable regulations.
9Children's Privacy
ph8ph8 is strictly for adults aged 21 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 21. During the registration process, members are required to confirm their age, and identity verification is used to enforce this requirement.
If ph8ph8 becomes aware that personal data has been collected from a minor, the relevant account will be immediately suspended and the data deleted. If you believe a minor has registered on ph8ph8, please contact our support team immediately so we can investigate.
10Exercising Your Data Rights
To exercise any of your rights under the Philippine Data Privacy Act — including access, rectification, erasure, objection, or portability — please contact our Data Protection Officer through the support team. Requests will be acknowledged within 5 business days and resolved within 30 calendar days of receipt.
We may need to verify your identity before acting on a data rights request to ensure we do not disclose or modify another person's data in response to a fraudulent request. ph8ph8 does not charge a fee for data rights requests unless they are manifestly unfounded, repetitive, or excessive.
If you are not satisfied with ph8ph8's response to a data rights request or believe we have handled your personal data in violation of the Data Privacy Act, you have the right to file a complaint with the National Privacy Commission of the Philippines.
11Changes to This Privacy Policy
ph8ph8 may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in how we operate, changes in applicable law, or feedback from members. When material changes are made, we will notify registered members by email or via an in-platform notification at least 7 days before the updated policy takes effect.
The current version of this Policy and its effective date are always displayed at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically so you stay informed about how your personal data is being handled. Continued use of ph8ph8 after the effective date of any change constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
